FRONT
NINE
 |
Hole
#1
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
11
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 5
A good starting hole. A
"risk/reward" dogleg
left par 5 with an Eagle or Triple bogey possible. Only trouble off the
tee is
a line of trees running down the right side. Green surrounded by
bunkers, the
front left especially deep. Over the green is the real trouble; if the
bunker
doesn't stop the ball it will roll down a steep bank into thick woods.
|
|
|
Hole
#2
Blue/White Handicap Hole: 9
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 13
Short
par 4. From the Blue and White tee blocks requires a difficult blind
tee shot
to a fairway that angles right. Out of Bounds and a group of trees
guard the
left side and a line of trees running down the right make an errant tee
shot
difficult to recover from. The large green is guarded in the front by
two
bunkers with a small area in the middle to run the ball on. Two large
mounds
also guard the right side and can be used to deflect the ball on to the
green.
To the left and rear of the green a steep bank runs away from the
player to an
Out of Bounds area.
|
 |
Hole
#3
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
17
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 17
Par
3 can play from 130 yards to 170 yards. Small green guarded by a bunker
on the
left and a large pine tree on the right. The green is elevated and two
tiered
with banks running away from the player to the right and rear. Behind
the green
is a line of trees. |
 |
Hole
#4
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
13
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 7
A short par 5 for the long hitters
of 445
yards, a 3 shot hole for the rest. Tree lines right and left side and a
fairway
bunker on the right at about 230 yards from the tee. After the fairway
bunker
the fairway drops into a valley before rising sharply to an elevated
green. A
deep bunker on the right and a steep bank running away on the left
fronts the
green. An errant shot to the left could easily end up at the bottom of
the bank
requiring a 40 yard shot back up over two large pines.
|
 |
Hole
#5
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
3
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 1
A
dogleg right par 4 of medium difficulty. It is critical to find the
fairway off
the tee, with a tree lined right side and thick rough on the left. The
elevated
green is guarded on the left by a deep bunker. A low running shot is
playable
here. |
 |
Hole
#6
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
1
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 3
A
dogleg left par 4 that plays as the most difficult on the course.
Another
difficult tee shot to a fairway that angles left. Trouble on both sides
with
Out of Bounds left and wooded area right. Uphill 2nd shot to a green
with
bunkers in front, left and rear. The green slopes off to the right and
can
create many difficult pin placements. |
 |
Hole
#7
Blue/White Handicap Hole: 7
Red/Gold
Handicap Hole: 9
A
short, dogleg right, uphill par 4. Tee shot usually requires a fairway
wood or
long iron laying up to a flat area about 100 yards from the green.
There is a
pond on the right that is not visible from the tee and a large pine
tree left.
From the flat area, the 2nd shot is sharply uphill to a green with a
false
front and banks sloping away on the right and rear. |
 |
Hole
#8
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
15
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 15
A
downhill Par 3 from 150 yards to 200 yards. As the highest point on the
golf
course, the tee provides a nice view of surrounding hills and
mountains. The
large green has steep banks sloping away on the right, left, and rear.
When the
wind blows the tee shot can be difficult |
 |
Hole
#9
Blue/White Handicap Hole: 5
Red/Gold Handicap
Hole: 11
A
downhill par 4. The length varies from 399 yards from the blue tees to
290
yards from the front tees. A difficult tee shot, as the fairway slopes
from
left to right, and scattered trees and thick rough are awaiting the
errant
drive. Out of Bounds runs down the left side of the hole and tight to
the left
side of the green. The elevated green slopes extremely from left to
right and
anything above the hole is a tough two putt.
|
BACK NINE

|
Hole
#10
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
8
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 12
This long par 3
is a difficult start to the back 9.
Playing uphill, the length varies from 160 yards to 210 yards. Bunkers
right
and left guard the green, with Out of Bounds behind the green. A small
berm
runs around the back of the green and can create some interesting
shots.
|
 |
Hole
#11
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
10
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 4
A
straight par 5 with a tree line all the way down the left side with
trees and
Out of Bounds on the right. A fairway bunker on the left side lies at
230 yards
from the blue tees. This hole can be reached in two shots by the longer
hitters, but most take three to get there. The approach into the green
is
flanked by bunkers right and left and has a deceiving rise in the
fairway short
of the green. A small green has banks running away on the right, left
and to
the rear. If hit too far over the green the player encounters an Out of
Bounds
area. |
 |
Hole
#12
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
16
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 8
Once again,
trees line both sides of this par 4 hole
all the way to the green. The tee shot must avoid a fairway bunker on
the right
side. Shallow bunkers surround the green on three sides and a berm runs
along
the back of the green.
|
 |
Hole
#13
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
18
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 18
This short par
3 has a unique feature as a berm
surrounds the entire green and bunkers appear as a "moat" around a
castle. This hole has many names such as the "saucer" or
"doughnut". Any tee shot that does not find the small green surface
has a difficult recovery shot. A small entranceway, devoid of bunkers
and berm,
provide a way to bounce the ball onto the green for those with a great
aim or a
lucky shot. |
 |
Hole
#14
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
2
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 6
A
long, dogleg right par 4 for the men, plays as a par 5 for the ladies.
Tree
lines once more go down both sides and turn to forest on the left
shortly after
the fairway doglegs. A bunker right, thick rough left, and a steep bank
that
runs away to the rear guard the approach into the small, elevated green. |
 |
Hole
#15
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
12
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 10
The
best short par 4 on the course requires an iron or fairway wood off the
tee to
a narrow tree lined fairway. A large pine tree blocks the view to the
green if
a player is too far left. On the right, lies a fairway bunker and Out
of
Bounds. From 100 yards out, the fairway narrows more and drops
gradually to a
green guarded by a bunker on the left. Shots hit over or to the right
of the
green, roll down a steep bank to a large pond that is not visible
except for
the hazard stakes. |
 |
Hole
#16
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
6
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 2
A
medium length par 5. A difficult tee shot to a crowned fairway that
slopes into
thick rough on both sides. Trees line both sides of this hole from tee
to
green. Out of Bounds runs down the right side. Only the longer hitters
have a
chance to reach this green in two, as it is normally a three shot hole.
The
green is protected in front and rear by bunkers. |
 |
Hole
#17
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
14
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 14
This
short, uphill par 4 can be reached from the tee with a big drive that
can run
up the steep bank in front of the green. The normal tee shot requires a
carry
over a pond to a fairway guarded on both sides by bunkers. The approach
shot
can be difficult as a small lower tier of the green acts as a false
front. To
the left of the green a bank drops sharply making a recovery shot
difficult.
When putting, the green slopes from back to front making speed a
priority. |
 |
Hole
#18
Blue/White Handicap Hole:
4
Red/Gold Handicap Hole: 16
A
good finishing par 4 that can vary in length from 305 yards to 410
yards. From
the back tee, the player has to navigate the ball
through a narrow chute of
trees to a fairway lined on the left by trees and the right by trees
and Out of
Bounds. This hole provides a nice view of the clubhouse, where people
can sit
and watch the 18th green. The green is guarded on the left by a pond
and to the
rear a bank drops sharply away to thick rough. Players are given a
break here
as the fairway runs around to the right of the green allowing balls to
roll
down a slope and onto the green.
